I hate being the bad cop.

It always happens right, there’s a good cop and a bad cop. Brian lets a lot more things slide or just doesn’t get as bothered as I do about certain…

Watching your partner become a parent.

Queue the cheesy “I didn’t think I could love you more than I already do” quote. To some, it sounds lame until you get it or can see it or…

Flying with a 27 month old

We recently went to Colorado to visit my 4 month old nieces, my sister and sister-in law! I guess you could consider Brian a veteran traveler since he flies every…

Summer Round Up

As summer comes to an end, I can’t help but smile as I look back at how much fun I had. What a difference from past summers, a lot less…

Sneaky Chef

Kenzie is a great eater, but sometimes I take the easy way out as she becomes a bit more picky. Like most kids, she lives for pasta, bread, cheese and…

Respect to the Stay at Home Parent.

Before I had kids, all I could think about was climbing the corporate ladder. How fast could I do it? How much money could I make? What would my next…

Our home renovation.

Brian and I purchased our first home a little over 2 years ago now. We weren’t looking for something brand new, we wanted a house with potential so we could…

We have been going through it over here 👋🏼 If you follow my stories, you have seen that McKenzie has been a challenge to say the least when it comes to bed time. It’s safe to say I think she was going through a phase, but I can’t help but wonder how I became the bad cop in our relationship. • Most times it felt like I was the only one that was not obeyed or listened to. That’s what terrible twos is all about though, right? • My little 2.5 year old has gotten a lot better. She is more aware of when she needs to listen, when things are dangerous, and when Mommy looks furious 😬 • Check out my new post for some of the things that got us through this phase and something I will hopefully look back and laugh at🤦🏽‍♀️ Who is the bad cop in your relationship? *link in bio* • • • • • • • • • #terribletwos #lifewithatoddler #girlmom #dadswithdaughters #badcop #parenting #29monthsold #2yearsold #sassytoddler #toddlermom #momlife #mommyandme

Happy Halloween 🎃
We made it through our first Soccer season! ⚽️ 🥅 She’s proud of herself which makes me most proud! Keep on running Kenzie girl 🤪
Post School• Post Lunch• Tired as ever• But still down to go shopping 🛍
Nothing makes my heart melt more then watching these two together • We have been so lucky to have more family time recently when Brian isn’t traveling, and no matter how tired he is when he walks through that door - she’s his priority❤️ *Link In Bio*
I never knew a 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮 like this before I am so lucky that I am 𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓼. ❤️❤️❤️ Happy 4th Anniversary to the love of my life @thecurthawkins! ILY
The last week has been pretty exhausting, but I’m pretty sure we have a big girl on our hands! 🚽💩 • Honestly, potty training was a strange week for me. All you do is stare at your kid non stop waiting for them to give you a signal or some type of dance that they’re about to pee. It really isn’t fun • My patience was tested, my parenting was tested, my commitment was tested-meanwhile I thought the toddler was the one being put to the test! • Either way, she did it and I couldn’t be more proud of her! Who would have thought watching your kid poop in a potty with your partner would bring such joy to your life. •Link In Bio• All I know is @thecurthawkins and I need a date night where we don’t talk about urine or bowel movements 🥴❤️
